“Words are singularly the most powerful force available to humanity. We can choose to use this force constructively with words of encouragement, or destructively using words of despair. Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate and to humble.”
–Yehuda Berg
I choose words to lift mankind, to better assist in any way possible. I know I am only one, but my influence and choice of action may influence my children and their children to lift humanity, in one way or another. I have been deeply affected by the reoccurring images of the refugees fleeing from their country in order to find peace. I have always followed stories of refugees from all over the world, but this sudden increase in refugees is as heart wrenching as it has always been. I wish I could help in some way. I long to help all who need it. The images of children crying due to fear, hunger and pain is gut wrenching as I can relate because I am a mother of three. It is horrid to hear words of neglect and dissonance among other beings that find others below them. We are all equal, we are all one race–the human race. Skin color, social status, religion and race should not orchestrate our feelings; our heart strings should not be pulled by these categories as we all need love. Change must begin with words as what you speak can very well begin to influence what you feel; words are so powerful.
Have a great day!
