Hello and welcome to Mrs. Lady Renaissance. I love classical movies, I can literally sit on a Saturday and simply go from one classical movie to the other. For today’s post I would like to explore the beautiful clothes worn in “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.” I’ve watched this movie a few times and every time I watch it, the fashion choices leave me head over heels. As I revisited this movie, I couldn’t believe how I still feel that the clothes worn by Jane Russell and Marilyn Monroe are wearable today. I didn’t post any ballgowns for the modern day outfit because I figured they’d be easy to find, although, I must admit, it was so difficult to restrain myself because there are so many beautiful ballgowns out there. I figured not too many people will actually wear a ballgown so I simply added dressed down versions.
Note: The pictures were taken with my iPhone while watching it on Netflix.
