For today’s “Thrilling Thursday,” I decided to include flea market finds from my weekly Wednesday shopping endeavor because the thrift store didn’t have very many things today. The upside, I found the flea market deals for $1. Yay! In case you aren’t familiar with Thursday thrifting at the Goodwill, everything that is marked with the color of that week is for only $1. Today’s color was blue. If there is anything I love more than a good find, it is a good find for a good price.
First of all, I found these pictures for $1 each at the flea market. The funny thing is that last week the seller wanted $5 per. Sometimes, it pays to wait, but not always because, most of the time, if it’s nice, it will sell. I did notice that one is chipped a bit, but easily fixable.
Second, I found this really heavy mirror for $1 and it was by the same seller I purchased the pictures from. This is definitely going in Noah’s room; I can’t wait!
Third, I found this collection of books at the flea market. These were also $1 each.
Finally, in true “Thrilling Thursday” fashion, I found these two books at the Goodwill. Since it was blue label day today, I purchased “Open House” for $1, but the dinosaur book was $1.99. Still, watching my son’s face light up when he realized they had every dinosaur known to man and with facts, it was worth deviating from the plan.
Drum roll please. . .
my thrift store summed up at $2.99, but my flea market finds added up to $11, so my grand total was $13.99. Tada!! Yay! $14 is not too bad, right?
So, how do you thrift?
