Today’s “Thrilling Thursday” adventure was brief and minimal. In case you aren’t familiar with “Thrilling Thursday,” let me explain; Thursday’s are dollar days at the Goodwill. This means that, depending on the color of the tag, everything will be a $1. For example, today was white tag day, so everything with a white tag is $1–even furniture. Let’s get started:

First, I found this lamp shade and, let me be honest, I need lamp shades. Lots of them! My house is filled with lampshade-less lamps and I I figured this $1 shade is the perfect way to decorate one. Oh yeah!

Second, I found this book, “The Best of Lewis Carroll” and thought it would be great for the kids. The coloring book located under the Lewis Carroll book was not a white tag deal, but it was an unused coloring book and the price was the same price you’d pay at the dollar store, so, when my son asked for it, I agreed.

Finally, my daughter found this dress and noticed it was a white tag deal, so she begged to get it. Naturally, I agreed.

Drum roll, please. . . My total was $3.99. Yay!
