Thrilling Thursday

For today’s “Thrilling Thursday” I only purchased a couple of things, although, to be honest, I had to restrain myself from purchasing a lot more–the restraint jacket was pretty strong today (insert clapping and cheering here); I kept to it. Although there were several tempting items, I also don’t want to clutter my house with things that are “nice” but that I’m not over the moon for simply because they are $1. For example, this canvas picture I purchased, I have been patiently—not so patiently, dreaming of it for a month, so, naturally, I didn’t think twice. Interestingly, I was sad today when I realized it was “blue tag” sale–meaning everything at Goodwill with a blue tag is for a dollar, yes, scream now, for a $1–and couldn’t find this portrait. To my surprise, someone hid it behind a huge pile of larger pictures and portraits in the corner of the store. Finally, the small chaffing dish is perfect for events and hosting. Enough with the talk, let’s get to the good stuff.
