“A problem shared is a problem halved.”
I love this quote because it encourages communication among friends, family, God, etc. According to a 2014 study, sharing problems and stresses among individuals experiencing the same circumstances, worries, and so forth, helps reduce stress. Word of advice, from experience I realized that one must be careful when sharing worries to someone that may not have similar goals. For example, if you speak to someone about your marriage, but the person you speak to doesn’t believe in marriage or has been divorced multiple times because they refuse to work on impending problems, then you may get some bad advice. Think wisely about the person you select to speak to and the advice they provide. Are there any ulterior motives from that person’s response? What does their life look like?
Have a wonderful day!
