Hello and welcome to Mrs. Lady Renaissance. Over the summer, I decided to work on my youngest daughter’s room, but grad school has kept me busy and I haven’t touched it since. We still have to add the crown molding, baseboard, trim to the door, paint the door, the ceiling, add crystal door knobs to the doors, lift the headboard to cover the wires and complete the closet. It certainly can become frustrating to have so many areas in the house unfinished. The good news is that grad school coursework will be over in 7 weeks, the bad news, lots of work. Anyway, I thought I’d post an update on the room thus far.

Can you believe I bought those two sconce shades at a Goodwill for $3?

Below are the pictures of the closet. She has a nice window in there that we want to add casing too and I was thinking of painting her closet a blush pink. She’s five so all things pink and gold excite her, hey, I’m 33 and they excite me.
