Hello and welcome to Mrs. Lady Renaissance. This weekend, although I had a lot of homework, we decided to take the kids to a pumpkin patch. We needed an outing that would give the kids a bit of a fun distraction, and the adults something to think about aside from work, school and the current disappointing presidential debates. Only in California could the weather be upward of 100 degrees in October. It was incredibly hot and this is the outfit I decided to wear. Nothing out of the ordinary, very casual, but fun. Of course, very far from the typical warm, layered, fall pumpkin patch outfit we all love.

Disclaimer: I am a mom of three and full time grad student. My “outfits of the day” reflect a low key stance focused on being “on the go” with a fun twist. I often down play the make-up and wear pieces that are contingent on running after a 2 year old. I rarely have time to do hair and nails, but that is simply a reflection of my busy schedule as a student, mother and wife. How do you Renaissance?
