Hello and welcome to Mrs. Lady Renaissance. For today’s outfit, I decided to include a corset belt that I’ve had for about 12 years. It was a staple I utilized to spark interest in work attire, but also for casual days and to add interest to dresses for a night out. I love how it has a ruffle at the back making it something fun while still cinching the waist.

Disclaimer: I am a mom of three and full time grad student. My “outfits of the day” reflect a low key stance focused on being “on the go” with a fun twist. I often down play the make-up and wear pieces that are contingent on running after a 2 year old. I rarely have time to do hair and nails, but that is simply a reflection of my busy schedule as a student, mother and wife. How do you Renaissance?
