I am obsessed with the CW’s Beauty and the Beast. Not only do I love the chemistry between the beautiful and talented Kristin Kreuk (Catherine Chandler) and the very handsome and extremely talented Jay Ryan (Vincent Keller), but I also love the story line and every single episode including the rest of the cast and its mixture of action, romance, female empowerment (KK and Nina Lisandrello) and often funny dialogue by Austin Basis (J.T. Forbes). I am completely heartbroken about this fourth season being the last season. Aside from the obvious, I can’t stop obsessing over “Cat’s” New York apartment. The apartment in the first season was okay, but the change in the second season had me bouncing off the walls with excitement. The different and calming shades of light blue walls, the wainscoting details throughout the whole apartment, the whitewashed brick wall in the kitchen, the white cabinets with the glass inserts, the red cabinet in Cat’s hallway, the windows, the clawfoot tub in the bathroom, the list goes on. I couldn’t get pictures of all of these areas, but the pictures I managed to acquire display the majority of the beauty.
Here are a few pictures I’ve compiled from the CW’s website:
Season 1:
Season’s 2-4:
The Threshold:
Mirror and entrance table by the door.
Coat rack in the kitchen by the entrance.
The Kitchen:
The white cabinets with the glass insert doors somehow allows the kitchen space to look a little bigger.
White counter stools make it look sleek and it takes up less space while providing extra seating for company.
A big island.
The Living room: I love the gray and different blue tones.
The doors next to the fireplace are supposed to be beautiful french doors.
The Bedroom:
The Wainscoting and trim work:
The Gallery Wall above the Fireplace:
I love the show, but also the decor aspect, including, but not limited to the fashion ensembles worn by Nicole Gale Anderson (Heather Chandler) and the beautiful dresses worn by Kristin. How about that wedding dress “Cat” wore for the roof top wedding?
I am loving the different blue tone colors throughout the apartment and enjoy looking at apartment living at its finest. It is interesting to see the decor choices, the set up and its inspirational aspects. What do you think about the set decor? Does it draw you in? If you haven’t watched it and are curious, Netflix currently has seasons 1-3 and the CW provides recent episodes on line and every Thursday at 9:00 p.m.
