DIY: Christmas Branch

Hello and welcome to my blog. I have been Christmas decorating around the house and thought I would share one DIY I worked on.

I noticed a few broken branches on my back yard lawn, so I took advantage of these bare branches  to make a nice Christmas tree. I simply spray painted the branches white, placed them in a vase and added faux snow.

Step 1:

Clean your branch.

Step 2:

Spray paint it or use the flocking spray and let it dry, then do the same on the other side.

Step 3:

Once dry, place it in a vase and fill the vase with rocks, a white snow mat or cloth (I just bought one at Dollar Tree for, you guessed it, $1), or paper to hold it in place. I used white paper towels.

Step 4: IMG_4025

Fill it with faux snow. Since I only had a little bit of faux snow, I filled the vase with paper towels and added the snow on top. You can purchase a white faux snow mat or cloth at the dollar store.

Step 5: IMG_4058

Add your touch with ornaments, lights or anything you want. I added silver rose buds, and gift tags. I am still working on it, but as of now, I like how it came out.
