“Look at a day when you are supremely satisfied at the end. It’s not a day when you lounge around doing nothing; it’s when you’ve had everything to do, and you’ve done it” – Margaret Thatcher
Boy is this ever so true because we, as in my husband, kids and I, painted for days to give this room a refresher. We are still working on it, but I’m updating a progress. My daughter loved the stripes I painted in the dining room wall and wanted the same thing in her room, the only difference is she wanted them vertical not horizontal.
- Before
- Still in process AFTER
We will also be adding a heart above her bed instead of a head board, per her request. I found this awesome one on Etsy as I’m not sure I want to paint the heart over the stripes. I love this Eiffel Tower Decal, but it is ultimately up to her. We will add the Organic Cotton duvet cover from Pottery Barn and this bed skirt is nice, but pricey. We like this one as well, but they aren’t organic. Honestly, that has been the most difficult part–aside from price, we want organic bedding as they don’t have pesticides nor are polyester, but the non organic are just so amazing! I’m still debating over the curtains and rug. Decisions decisions.
