DIY: The Threshold; I’m Seeing Spots Update, but still in process.

I blogged about my DIY journey in creating spots for my entrance or–an ode to Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s Christabel–my threshold. The ceiling pain color is “Caviar” by Sherwin Williams. Quickly, after completion, I removed the tape while the paint was wet. I love the way this came out! Certainly, it is not complete, I still need my roman shades and the flush mount chandelier has not been installed, but in regards to paint, I love this version better. What do you think about black ceiling?

One thing I will say, is DIYing is definitely a process and you will go through certain times where you simply don’t like your work. You learn, you correct, you move on. This is an example of that. You can see my previous post on “the Threshold” and how I covered up the, what I call, “CU’s” that I created, then kept them as spots, now covered the ceiling. This is what blogging and DIYing is about, mistakes and corrections.

Happy DIYing!
