“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” –Winston Churchill
I need this quote as my quarter is raging along. My two courses are great, but present itself a bit difficult for me to keep up. I am tired. Noah has been fussy due to having a total of four upper teeth coming in. We have a lot of unfinished projects within the house and a house that seems to not be as tidy as I wish it were. It is going to be okay. All of it. As long I wake up, life is okay. I have another opportunity, another shot at life. My failures in class are not fatal. Reading about the disastrous earthquake in Napal, my heart simply breaks for every family destroyed, person trapped, baby hurt. It puts things into perspective and my worries and problem are worthless compared to those going through such situations. My prayers go out to them!
Have a wonderful weekend. Remember, failure is not fatal. It is not. When one door closes, it isn’t the end. You will always find other opportunities. Success is not final as you never know what tomorrow will bring. Your current success may change, therefore, humble yourself, appreciate the here and now. Regardless of the successes and failures, what truly counts is your ability to continue, to strive for a better outcome.
