Sermon Sunday: 4/19/15

“Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘what will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things: for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:31-33

I read this quote earlier this week and it silenced me. It stopped me on my tracks and dropped me to my knees. It is true, why question if God will provide us with such things? How dare we, for through him all things are possible. I need to stop my questioning and simply believe that it will. I place my faith in him and will discontinue my questioning. Who am I to question? Who are we to question such things when we are blessed with life? There are times when I read such text and am dumbfounded to the point of speechlessness.

Let me know what you think. . .don't be shy.
