“But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.” James 1:6
Much like every area in our lives, believing and having faith that things will come to happen, as we have prayed for, is vital. If you doubt, you will be “blown and tossed by the wind” because you can be easily persuaded otherwise. When you are unsure of your faith for God, unsure about your marriage, uncertain about your work then you can be knocked down by any passerby. For today’s Sermon Sunday, I wanted to tackle doubt and how it plays a role in every aspect of our lives, especially your faith for Christ and the changes he can make in your life. Would you run a race believing that you are going to fail, filling yourself with doubt and questioning your abilities? I would hope not because going into it with a negative mentality will result in a negative outcome. The same goes with your faith in Christ, your marriage and your relationship with others. Go into it with a positive outlook, fill yourself with faith, and never allow doubt to linger for you are stronger and can overcome all obstacles as you travel through your journey. Have faith in the Lord for he can help you achieve anything and everything.
Have a great Sunday!
