Quote of the day: 2/2/15

“The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark.” –Michelangelo

Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. For today’s quote, I would like to ask you; how low are you setting your goals? This coming from Michelangelo, the one who painted the Sistene Chapel, sculptured David, to name a few. Are you capable of more, but are simply afraid of aiming high because you fear you won’t achieve it? Don’t be afraid to set your standards high because you are capable of anything you set your mind to. You can achieve your goals and dreams. You can learn to cook. You can reach your desired weight, being increase or decrease. You can buy that car, complete that course, buy the house, mend your relationships, eat healthier, become a supervisor or manager, follow your dream job, achieve a spiritual relationship with God and or simply live each day full of appreciation for having one more day of blooming flowers and to feel the warm sun on your face. Life is not always about material matters, but enjoying what we do have and if setting your goals high to always be present in your son/ daughter/, significant others special events, then aim high to never miss. If your goal is to have one on one with someone special and never fail, you can do it. What ever is important to you, don’t sell yourself short by setting an easy goal, aim high because you are capable of achieving it. You are worthy and deserve the very best and when you set your goals low, you are saying you do not feel worthy and capable. Remember, you are!!

Have a great day!

Let me know what you think. . .don't be shy.
