Our walk-in closet is still a work in progress. I was inspired by the boutique closet look.We knocked down the clothes rack to put up white, paintable, wall paper and decided to paint it. End result, we are not satisfied with the color of the wall. The turquoise color seemed like a nice idea at first, but once completed, we realized it wasn’t. We will live with it for a bit since we have so many projects to complete. The bookshelves were a used gift from my parents and we decided to paint them white. Our closet is a separation of Mr. Renaissances’ belongings and my very own. I do color coordinate and separate according to style in order to be able to find things easier, but the hubby likes to cause chaos in the closet, as you may see here. Finally, I have placed a vinyl table cover with velcro in order to protect my shoes from dust. It can easily be removed to grab my shoes. Mr. Renaissance, an impatient man, didn’t want it on his side because he felt like he would become frustrated at 3:00 in the morning when he wakes up to go to work.
